A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“We got a king room on the second floor. We really like the room design and the amenities. It has an old feel but a modern twist. We arrived late, and the staff at the desk were really friendly and made us feel welcome. We love the atmosphere of the place and are really glad to stay here. For those booking through hotel sights, id suggest a king room so that you are on a higher floor. We had no issues with noise from our room (#2)”
“We booked this and like all old buildings with hotels, it is a bit of a rabbit warren. The room we had was spaceous, the beds were comfortable and we were on the B floor. Nothing to see, but cool in the hot weather. The bar was just up the stairs from the room and frequently open. The Breakfast was fantastic, getting the Full Scottish. We were close to the Royal Mile ( but it was all up hill). We will stay again.”
